Warrant Information

Warranty Claims Procedure

At Log on Fires, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. Here’s how our warranty claims process works and what you can expect if you ever need to make a claim:

1. Check Your Warranty

All stoves and parts come with a manufacturer’s warranty, usually ranging from 1 to 10 years (depending on the brand).

The warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects in the stove or part itself, not accidental damage or general wear and tear.

2. Gather Your Details

Have your purchase information ready (invoice or receipt, installation date, and stove model).

If you’ve moved house or are the new owner, the warranty transfers with the stove & liner—just let us know.

3. Contact Us First

Call us on 01248 713558 or email sales@logonfires.com with your details and a description of the problem.

If possible, send us photos of the fault to help speed up the process.

4. We’ll Handle the Claim

We’ll liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf to confirm the issue is covered under warranty.

Most replacement parts arrive within 3–5 working days.

5. Fitting & Labour

Warranty covers the part itself. Labour for fitting replacement parts is covered only within our initial installation guarantee period (usually 12 months after installation).

After this period, we’re happy to quote for any fitting work needed.

Warrant Information

What Happens to My Stove Warranty if I Sell My Home?

At Log on Fires, we want you (and your home’s future owners) to have complete peace of mind when it comes to your stove installation.

Warranty Stays With the Stove

If you sell your home, the manufacturer’s warranty for your stove transfers to the new owner. This means that, as long as the warranty is still valid (usually 1–10 years depending on the brand), the new homeowner can claim for replacement parts if there’s a fault.

Who Pays for Fitting Replacement Parts?

  • The manufacturer’s warranty typically covers the cost of the replacement part itself.
  • Labour for fitting replacement parts is not included, unless it’s within our initial installation guarantee period (usually 12 months for workmanship).
  • After this period, any fitting or labour costs are the responsibility of the homeowner.

Need a Replacement or Help With a Claim?

If you or the new owner need a part replaced, just get in touch. We’re happy to help with the warranty claim and can provide a quote for any fitting work required.

Summary:

 Warranty = covers the part

Labour = homeowner pays after installation guarantee
